Dapper House Barber Shop

The Challenge

Dapper House Barber Shop was established in 2019 in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. At the time, they had no website and no online presence. Customers had to call or walk in to book an appointment, and there was no way to discover the shop or its services online.

131 Studios built their first website, giving Dapper House a professional online presence and a foundation to grow from.

Custom Online Appointment System

As the shop grew, so did the demand for a better way to manage bookings. 131 Studios designed and built a custom online appointment system from scratch.

The system handles the entire booking process online. Customers select their barber, choose a service, pick an available date and time, and confirm their appointment without ever needing to call the shop. The backend manages all barbers, their individual schedules, and time-off requests, so availability is always accurate.

Once an appointment is booked, the system sends automated text message and email reminders to reduce no-shows and keep the schedule running smoothly.

To date, the system has processed 60,219 total appointments, averaging 54 appointments per day.

Custom Event Registration

Dapper House sponsors community events throughout the year. Rather than relying on third-party platforms or manual sign-ups, 131 Studios built a custom event registration system directly into the website.

The system allows the shop to list upcoming events with details like date, time, location, and pricing. Customers can browse available events, register their team, submit payment, and receive confirmation, all in one flow on the Dapper House website.

The Partnership

What started as a first website for a new barber shop has expanded into a custom software relationship. Dapper House Barber Shop now runs its day-to-day appointment scheduling and its community events through systems built specifically for their business by 131 Studios.
